Book your sailing holidays on crystal clear waters.
Yacht Charter Poros, Greece. The route takes you past Sarolische Aegina, where you choose not to port but rather choose to stay in the bay on the south side of the island. A short sail further brings you to Poros but you can also board in Poros itself because we also charter yachts there. Beneteaus, Jeanneaus, Bavaria’s.
And Poros is fun, the Greeks know that they make their livings from tourists, but besides the entertainment they somehow seem to manage to keep things authentic. The streets are kept clean with a dustpan and brush, especially something higher up the mountain. This is also the place where you in the evening going to search for a restaurant, between the old houses and under the overhanging plant boxes you will find the real Greek cuisine.
In Poros bay you probably spot dolphins. If you see them in the distance, but they disappeared quickly, then it could have also been tuna, because even tuna can still be found much in this region. Good anchorage is on the east side of the bay, a nice place for a swim. You sail along the harbor Methana, the pilot says that it is hard to walk. But it’s not that hard, you only see the entrance quite late. Deep it is not there, the threshold is approximately 2.50m so with seas. If you’ve chartered a deep stabbing racer, you can better find another pub for the evening.
To Epidavros you can sail as a short-day trip, around the island. Methana Epidavros is a tourist attraction because of its old theater. Entertainment can also be found there at night. Just a few miles from the port you are sailing again in the peace and tranquility of the quiet side of the Sarolische Gulf. To step in Aegina, on the northeast side of the island, you will sail along some deserted islands. Throw an anchor in the lee of the mountain slope, pull the boat with a line closer to the rocks and experience the Greek water as there are already thousands of years: azure, blake leading to the Greek sun and surrounded by mountains.
